Where to praise:

Ps 149 v1

... sing to the lord a new song,
his praise in the assembly of the saints. (the church)

When to praise:

Ps 145 v1-2 and Ps 146 v2

I will exalt you, my God and King,
I will praise your name for ever and ever,
Every day I will praise you,
and extol your name for ever and ever...

Praise the lord, O my soul.
I will praise the Lord all my life;
I will sing to my God as long as I live

A worshiper should make praise a life style, always praising God.

Effects of praise

Ps 147 v1-3 and v11-14 (in part)

3. ... he heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds....
13... he strengthens the bars of your gates (protection)
and blesses your people within you.
He grants peace to your borders
and satisfies you with the finest wheat (prosperity)

Especially note when combined with the Word

Ps 149 v6 - 9 (in part)

May the praise of God be in their mouths
and a double-edged sword in their hands (the word)
to inflict vengeance on the nations....
to carry out the sentence written against them
This is the glory of the saints

For the past 5 years Jerry Sevelle has been preaching that this is the time of restoration for the body of christ. Remembering that JUDAH means PRAISE read:

Ps 69 verses 34-36,

the cities of praise will be restored.

A worshipper should, in obedience to God's Word:

Praise Him and exalt His mighty name
Lead the people into battle
Overcome the enemy
Cause blessing and prosperity to overtake the church
